What our valued patients are saying:

Our favorite pediatrician
Our family loves fmi [...] we especially love Doctor Bruce. He has been so good with all of our children. Our youngest Lucy who is our biggest critic absolutely enjoys every visit with him. He has by far been our favorite pediatrician. He’s a very knowledgeable, easy going, patient, and kind Doctor and I trust him very much with our kids.
Very attentive, thorough, and professional
I had an office visit with Sergey Kashubin and was very impressed. He is an excellent provider — very attentive, thorough, and professional. He took the time to fully evaluate my concerns and made sure I received the appropriate tests and treatment. Highly recommend!
Sweet and very helpful staff
I didn't know what to expect from this Clinic as it's my first experience with functional medicine. I absolutely adore [Sergey] and I'm thankful to him for trying to solve my chronic medical illness, instead of just throwing more pills at it. All of the staff have been extremely sweet and very helpful and educational.

Wish I started sooner
Thank you Thank you Thank you Dr. Jacqueline Griffin and Team for helping me finally discover the reason for and recover from my many years of chronic debilitating symptoms!! I wish that I had gotten testing years ago.
Felt heard and cared for
Sergey, PA-C, is absolutely amazing! He’s knowledgeable, patient, and truly takes the time to listen. I felt heard, cared for, and confident in the care I received. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone who’s both professional and genuinely compassionate.
Son improving in just 24 hours
Our little guy had been sick for almost a month and after chatting with the wellness desk they shared several homeopathic things to get him started on. Within 24 hours he was improving and within two days was back to his lively self again. Just disappointed I waited so long to ask for their ideas!
Loves FMI!
I love this place ! The girls who work in wellness are amazing ! They are always helpful and I feel like they know me pretty well. I never feel rushed or that I'm bothering them when I have questions, and they are so helpful when it comes to helping me pick out supplements.

Yes, we are pleased to offer the convenience of accepting Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards as valid forms of payment. It is important to note, however, that the coverage of the FMI Functional Care Plan by your HSA or FSA is subject to the policies and guidelines set forth by your respective healthcare financial account. We recommend you first verify the eligibility and coverage details with your HSA or FSA provider to ensure a seamless and informed payment process!

Our team of providers is in network with most Blue Cross, Regence, Aetna, Select Health, Pacific Source, Cigna, and Mountain Health Co-op plans.

Every insurance plan is different. To help you determine what your plan will cover at our office, we have put together a list of common appointment, lab and diagnostic codes used for billing purposes. We recommend calling your insurance and asking about the coverage of these commonly used codes: If you are needing CPT codes, please don’t hesitate to contact our office at (208) 385-7711 and select the Billing option when calling, or you can also reach us via email at billing@funmedidaho.com. We are more than happy to assist you with any inquiries related to CPT codes.

If your plan is in-network with Functional Medicine of Idaho, an FMI team member will be able to verify your eligibility and assist you with the following:

  • Copayment, coinsurance, and current deductible amounts
  • Estimated out-of-pocket charges per medical visit based on your plan
  • Reach out to info@funmedidaho.com with questions.

Yes, payment is required at the time of service for all co-pays, deductible retainer (if applicable), and any outstanding account balances. Deductible retainer is $150 retainer for all patients who have not yet reached their deductible. This retainer is applied to the total cost of the appointment. Any balance after claim is processed through insurance and retainer is applied, will be billed to the patient. Deductible retainer is not collected for most Wellness Appointments, but varies by insurance policies.

Labs are NOT included in the FMI Functional Care Plan. This allows patients the freedom and choice to choose the lab they would like to be drawn at. FMI utilizes 3rd party labs for lab-draws. To find out which labs are in-network with your insurance plan, call the member service number on the back of your insurance card, or log in to your insurance provider’s member portal to find out which lab is preferred.
Many FMI patients find it helpful to ask their insurance representative the following questions:

  • I’m working with an out-of-network provider. Do I have out-of-network lab coverage?
  • Is there a preferred in-network lab provider?
  • What is my current deductible status?
  • What coverage can I expect for the testing my doctor wants me to get? (Ask your FMI medical team for a CPT document for your specific lab order, which will include both the billable CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes associated with your order. By providing these codes, a representative will be able to advise which tests are eligible for coverage based on your plan. Upon request, this CPT document will be uploaded to your FMI patient portal.

For insurances that FMI is not contracted with, you may request a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement you as you will be a CASH pay patient. Your insurance reimbursement may vary, so please contact your insurance to verify that you hold out of network benefits.

Quality and efficacy of supplements are crucial aspects of your health journey. While easily accessible platforms like Amazon may be tempting, we strongly recommend a more discerning approach due to the lack of FDA oversight for supplements. Consumer Reports and studies highlight the importance of choosing supplements from reputable sources. At FMI, we prioritize ensuring you receive precisely what is intended. Popular online platforms may compromise product stability, and supplements from other countries raise concerns about responsible sourcing. Our exclusive partners mandate rigorous certifications, ensuring a thorough examination of the supply chain and traceability through lot numbers. We prioritize quality assurance by testing for contaminants, advocating for responsible sourcing to promote your health and vitality.
