Kaitlin Cooley is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who studied at The College of Idaho and Idaho State University and then moved to Northwest Nazarene University for her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She worked as a registered nurse in a hospital setting and discovered she is passionate about helping patients optimize their health in the primary care setting. She has been with Functional Medicine of Idaho since 2023 and is continuing her education through The Institute For Functional Medicine. Kaitlin specializes in Primary Care for the whole family.

After beginning her career as a registered nurse in the hospital setting, Kaitlin realized her desire to help patients optimize their health in a more holistic, proactive manner. This led her to pursue her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Northwest Nazarene University, where she honed her skills in patient-centered care.
Kaitlin is deeply committed to providing high-quality care, prioritizing each patient’s individual needs and wellness goals. She employs a science-based approach to care, utilizing evidence-backed practices while ensuring that each patient’s treatment plan is personalized to their unique circumstances. She firmly believes that the best outcomes are achieved when patients and providers work together as partners in health.
Continuing her dedication to comprehensive, holistic care, Kaitlin is advancing her education through The Institute for Functional Medicine with the goal of achieving her Functional Medicine Provider certification. This training reflects her ongoing commitment to expanding her knowledge and enhancing her ability to guide patients toward optimal health.
