Credentials & Certifications

Family Nurse Practitioner-Certified
I’ve always had a strong interest in the wellness industry, but my real turning point came when I discovered functional medicine. I came across books and resources from functional medicine practitioners that introduced me to the root cause approach to healthcare. The more I learned, the more I realized this was the only way I wanted to practice medicine—treating the underlying causes of illness, rather than just masking symptoms. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to shadow at the Functional Medicine of Idaho during my FNP training, which really solidified my belief in this approach. It confirmed that functional medicine aligns perfectly with my passion for patient-centered, holistic care and made it clear that this was the direction I wanted my NP career to take.
I’m married to my husband, Matt, and we have two sons. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring the foothills, and learning to golf. I’m also continuing my education through The Institute for Functional Medicine, working toward my Functional Medicine Provider certification.
