Recipe: Baked Zesty Carrot Fries

Baked Zesty Carrot Fries are a delicious, simple way to satisfy your craving for french fries without excess oil or deep frying.

Ingredients:

  • 5 – 6 large carrots
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Peel carrots and slice into chips or fry-sized pieces. 
  3. Place carrots on the cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle chili powder and cinnamon evenly over the carrots.
  5. Toss to coat. 
  6. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until the carrots are at the desired tenderness.
