Jacqueline Griffin, NP is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner based in St. Augustine, Florida, with additional licensure in Arizona, Idaho, and Washington. Her lifelong interest in natural living was inspired by her grandparents, who cultivated their own vegetables long before the farm-to-table movement gained popularity. The premature loss of her father in 2006 propelled her to investigate the shortcomings of the medical system, leading her to a career in healthcare. She honed her skills as a heart nurse at prestigious institutions such as Yale, Penn Medicine, and Johns Hopkins — completing her graduate studies at Chamberlain University and subsequently worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine and Family Practice, accumulating two years in internal medicine and several more in primary care.
Her extensive bedside nursing experience also includes ten years in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, a year in Oncology, and seven years in health and wellness/nutrition coaching. In 2018, Jacqueline’s path led her to become a patient of Dr. Stephan Cabral. Inspired by his approach, she began training with him in Functional and Integrative Medicine two years later. Jacqueline is board certified in Family Medicine, Ortho-Molecular Medicine, and Bioregulatory Medicine, with additional training in Indian Medicine and the science of Ayurveda. She prides herself on integrating the best of all forms of medicine to uncover the root causes of her patients’ health imbalances. Jacqueline’s focus of interest is also on assisting patients in reversing trauma, PTSD, and various mental health conditions.
Jacqueline’s professional journey was paralleled by her personal battle with chronic illness, enduring 15 years of misdiagnoses and suffering from chronic gut issues, autoimmune conditions, mold toxicity, and chronic infections. With over 17 years of training in health, nutrition, trauma therapy, fitness, and both modern and alternative medicine, Jacqueline combines evidence-based research with a holistic approach to address the root causes of health imbalances. Her goal is to help her patients feel their best and achieve longevity.
Recognizing that medicine is not one-size-fits-all, she tailors her care to fit each individual’s unique needs, utilizing conventional modalities and testing when appropriate and diving deeper when necessary. Through Functional and Integrative Medicine, along with faith and patience, she found healing. Now, she channels her own experience and knowledge to help her patients find their own paths to wellness.
